Getting Started
Xtream Filter Console lets you connect to your existing Xtream-compatible IPTV provider and create filtered profiles that only expose the categories and channels you actually want. Here's how it works:
1. Create an Account
Register with your email and a strong password. You will need a registration code provided by your administrator. This account is only for the web console — it is separate from your IPTV provider credentials.
2. Add a Source
A source is a connection to your upstream IPTV provider. Open Settings and fill in the source form with:
- Source name — a label of your choice (e.g. "My Provider")
- Base URL — the Xtream API base URL your provider gave you
- Username & password — your Xtream credentials from the provider
These credentials are encrypted at rest in the database and are never exposed through the UI after being saved.
3. Sync the Source
After adding a source, hit the Sync button in the top bar. This pulls the full category and channel catalogue from your provider so you can start filtering.
4. Create a Profile
A profile is a filtered view of a source. Each profile gets its own gateway credentials — a username and a randomly generated secret — that you use in your IPTV player (e.g. TiviMate). You can create multiple profiles from the same source, each with different filter rules.
5. Filter Categories & Channels
Select your profile from the dropdown and browse its Live TV, VOD, and Series tabs. For each category or channel you can:
- Toggle visibility — hidden items won't appear in your IPTV player
- Rename — give categories or channels a custom display name
- Reorder — set a custom sort index to control the order
- Favourite channels for quick access
Use prefix filters to bulk show or hide entire groups of categories (e.g. all "UK|" or "4K|" categories at once).
6. Connect Your Player
In your IPTV player, set up a new Xtream connection using the gateway credentials shown in the profile settings. The gateway URL is the same base URL as this console. Your player will only see the categories and channels you've left visible.
Data Security
All sensitive data — including your source credentials, gateway secrets, and account passwords — is encrypted in the database. Passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms and source credentials are encrypted at rest, meaning they cannot be read even with direct database access.
